Private Wax here means labels that only put out one or two songs, or maybe a few more. So most of these have not been heard by human ears. While a great lineup of picks, I think this one was not quite as enjoyable as Deep Disco and Boogie (ohh, appears to be OOP, as of last week), Deep Disco Culture Vol. 2 (I am still seeking out Vol. 1 or for it back it print, hey, Zaf!), but all in all, if you want decently musical quality disco you have never heard, this is one for you.

I dropped it one star just coz the music is as not as thrilling as some others. But the main reason is the jacket. It may not be a big deal to some, but I find the jacket to be very important to the presentation of a quality compilation A compilation CD is a work of art. I mean, do want to drink a fine wine out of a coffee mug It's still fine wine, right I don't think so. I'd like a real glass please. The jacket is thin and the disk slides front-wise across laminated cardboard. I liked the jacket and plastic hub of Deep Disco and Boogie better.
