In the 1730s, many composers tried their luck in London: Giani revolutionized instrumental music with his famous treatise "The Art of Playing on the Violin" and presented an amazing version of La Folia; his student Avison orchestrated concerts by Scarlatti, and Porpora ventured away from the opera and rediscovered the sig of the cello with one of the most beautiful concerts of that .
Ophelie Gaillard and Pulcinella conjure up a poetic and exuberant night in London. The singers Sandrine Piau and Lucile Richardot lend their voices to works by Giani and Handel.
