In autumn 1987, the (first) break-up of Modern Talking was a big disappointment for the fans of the successful duo. Even as the rumour mill threatened to boil over about the imminent break-up of the polarising hit suppliers, Dieter Bohlen presented his new solo project. Under the name Blue System, he released the track "Sorry Little Sarah." A new hit project with a familiar face was created!
The series featured 10 years of chart hits from best-selling albums by Blue System such as "My bed is too big", "Under my skin", "Silent water" (from the Schimanski c series "Moltke"), "Love Suite" (from the ZDF series "Rivalen der Rehnbahn"), "Magic Symphony", "48 Hours", "Love is such a lonely sword", "Lucifer", "Deja vu", "Romeo & Juliet", "Laila" and many more, all written and produced by Dieter Bohlen.
A selection of 19 tracks from this impressive discography, including five long (maxi) versions, can be found on "My Star" Blue System. As part of the popular "My Star" series, the Blue System release is the 75th edition and therefore an anniversary. How better to celebrate than with the hits of the Poptitan..
