Produced under the direction of Goddard Lieberson (legendary head of Columbia Records), this package comprehensively depicts the story of Ireland's fight for freedom in songs and ballads, interviews with survivors, excerpts from speeches by its leaders - including President Eamon de Valera - and many original photographs. Audio recorded live in Dublin, and by the Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem, especially for this album.
