This 4CD set features 100 forgotten 60's classics by artists such as the Monkees, Buffalo Springfield, The Byrds, Cream, Moody Blues, The Eagles, Traffic, & David Bowie to name a few.

There are certainly some sixties classics on this Dutch compilation, however" less obvious" rather than "forgotten" could apply to most tracks. Produced by Holland's Hunter Music in 2005 this set is now getting hard to find - but worth the effort as it is more thoughtful than many sixties compilations. The tracks have been remastered by Hilversum's Audio2Music for this set and it is a good-sounding collection. There are very few duff choices here and the listing is split with 25 tracks on each CD.
